2007 October Dues for Membership
Club President and Treasurer, now is the time to check and make sure all your membership fee are pay to WHQ before 29th
September 2007. As you all are busy selecting members to attend the Area and Division Contests. This is the month where most
of the club contests will be completed and Area contests will start very soon, I understand this is one of the big events
each year for the club officers and members to take part. But remember one of the criteria to be contestant is being a good
standing member of the club, which mean that membership dues for October need to pay before moving on to the next level to be
qualify as good standing member.
We also know that paying the October Dues on time will give you half Point toward your DCP Goal, which will bring the club
to a better status to show the guests and visitors what kind of club they are looking at. It is also your duty to make sure
membership fee pay to WHQ once you received from the members. For the past year I heard a lot of members saying they have pay
the membership fee but the club did not update for them and make them not eligible for the next level of contest. I hope this
will not happen again in this year, so I need all you help to make sure members are all in good standing for the next level
of contests.
For the Area and Division Governors are also your duty to help remind the Club Presidents and Treasurers to pay October
Dues on time, so that they will receive their DCP point and achieve Distinguish at the end of the term. By achieve
Distinguish Club it will help the Area and Division to achieve Distinguish Area and Division at the end of the term as well.
Therefore paying dues on time are very important to all level of the organization.
For payment method you can follow the message from our District Treasurer Monica Goh “To expedite the
processing of your club dues renewals, please take advantage of paying renewals on line. To renew online, you first need your
club number and password then go to www.toastmasters.org , click on “Pay Club Dues Online Now” and
follow the instructions. WHQ accepts payment by MasterCard, VISA and American Express.”
Please forward this message to all the Club Presidents and Treasurers under your Division.
